WW2 German Luftwaffe Dagger by Paul Weyersberg & Co
WW2 German Luftwaffe Dagger, in excellent condition, maker Paul Weyersberg & Co, a fine 2nd pattern dagger with minimal wear, three marks to the blade, both sides same place, from where the scabbard has rubbed the blade. The blade also benefits from an armourers mark just above the maker's logo. The cross guard eagle is crisp and unmarked, dark orange handle which is undamaged though feels a little loose. The dagger retains its knot, the bullion cord of which has been worn through by rubbing against the cross guard over time. Scabbard is undamaged with an even patina. An excellent example of a Luftwaffe dagger, nicely age toned and very presentable.
