1957 Paratroopers Combat Clasp, maker Assman, pin removed for sowing to tunic, this badge was basically the de-nazified version of the WW2 clasp which was never implemented. This clasp itself was only worn during the 1955-56 period and became obsolete when the formal 57 issue State awards were introduced. Some senior parachute officers continued to wear the clasp, photographs exist of the clasp being worn as late as 1960. A very rare clasp especially as an Assman piece.
