A nice WW2 German Red Cross tunic and side cap. The tunic is in excellent condition with the minimal of wear, I believe this tunic has been worn postwar as well, the original owner advised he wore it until 1947 until released from British control after denazification. There are no marks on the tunic, The collar has a size tab of '50', sizes are approx in inches - chest 38, collar to tail drop 30, arm length 26. The tunic has collar patches and the Red Cross ribbon bar, an armband is worn though is not an official issue, this in itself is not unusual as many were locally made by unit tailors. Overall a nice tunic. The cap is very nice, you do not come across many Red Cross side caps, no damage, there is an ink mark inside but very difficult to read, could be 'E39' I'm not sure, the badge is excellent, again a fine cap though wear is obvious as the pictures show. A nice pair of Red Cross items.
