As a collector myself I have always tried to purchase with a discerning eye - a fact that I hope you see in the items that I have selected to sell, many of which are from my own personal collection. I believe our 'collections' go through a number of key stages just as we the collector go through such stages - structuring our themes, changing interest area and of course specialising within our field. I am currently re-structuring my collection and will be adding some choice specimen pieces to the website. If anything does catch your eye then do please email me for further details "

A 1980s-ish 'Totenkopf' lighter, unused. These sort of cigerette lighters were available at Old Comrades and veterans meetings throughout the 1980s, possibly earlier into the 1970s too. Made by the company Dora who made a number of items of veteran wear. Still a quality lighter at a bargan price.

Postwar period denim/cotton battle dress blouse of the Austrailian Army REME. Tunic is 16/17ish inches across the shoulders, 22/23 inch arm length and a drop of 23/24 inches collar to tail. I would guess the jacket is for a medium frame man, the label suggests about 89-91cm chest which is about 36 ish chest, so not for your growing lad! In lovely condition overall, I do not believe this has ever been worn. Has cloth shoulder titles and Cpls stripes. A fine BD for the collector.

A very nicely done, circ 60s, most likely a film made tunic, but absolutely stunning tailoring, perfect to an original construction even down to the draw cords. Obviously made by a competent tailor with knowledge of wartime tunics. Tunic comes complete with its insignia and shoulder boards. Size is large, 22 inches across the shoulders so most likely a 44ish plus chest, arm length is 25 inches, collar to tail hem drop is 26 inches. So we are looking at a 6ft rugby player type, a big chap! As it is professionally made, darted and cut properly then it is easily tailored to a smaller size by another tailor. A quality item and a wonderful bargin for a re-enactor, could even be dyed to black for a regular look.
