WW2 German Merchant Navy battle flag, showing the swastika and the Iron Cross in the top corner. These flags are quite scarce, being flown by Merchant and Q ships whose Captains were Kriegsmarine reserve naval officers. Lovely condition multi-piece construction flag in a light linen, size 100 x 61 cms, with no damage, colours still bright , maker marked Uckermark and Kiel dated 1940.
